SHOUT OUT to all the Rocktacular Spectacular-ers! It’s been a while since our last rager (Halloween), and we’re long overdue for some more fun. We’ve outgrown good ol’ Doom Manor (at least temporarily), so we’re pumped to announce that our next installment in the series is happening at everyone’s favorite East side spot for great vibes and good times - Cheer Up Charlies.
CUC is a killer outdoor/indoor venue with music stage, dance floor (under a parachute and huge oak trees w/ decorative lights), lounge chairs/tables, two bars, and food trucks outside. The staff is some of the nicest in the city, and the place is a perfect home for super-dancey tunes, non-pretentious drinks, down-to-earth peeps, and a sizable dose of the usual Rocktacular ridiculousness.
As one may deduce, the Conductors of Groove for the evening will be the usual suspects: Mr. Captain Rocktacular (Colin) and his First Lieutenant Hard Drive (Andrei), in a new 2x4 setup. Expect a large helping of fresh indie dance action, vintage disco/funk vibes, and floor-burning house grooves to set your feet, midriffs, and booties ablaze.
We have a few surprises in store for those of you who RSVP from now until the week of the party, so let us know if you can make it and we’ll share what we have up our sleeves with you. (It’s exciting.)
